Scanspeed doesn't change regardless of setting or Scan speed stays slow
In Discover Pro you can change how fast the auto-scan options are highlighted by changing the scan speed.In Discover Pro there are two factors that affect the scan speed: 1) the Scan Speed Rate 2) Voice/Speech Rate if Auditory Cue is turned on and set to Speech.
Discover Pro will not advance to the next option until the Text To Speech Engine has finished speaking the text for that button. This can cause erratic scan behaviour if the length of time that it takes to speak the text is longer than the scan speed.
To fix erratic/slow scan speed you can either:
1) Turn off the Auditory Cue (in Preferences)
2) Switch the Auditory Cue from Speech to Beep (in Preferences)
3) Increase the Text-To-Speech Rate ( Change Voice & Volume Settings )
4) Slow down Scan Speed
